I would like to thank all of the participants that signed up for the 2010 Winter

Skills Clinic. I am sure you will be happy when you play this spring will the skills

gained this winter!

Plans are in the works to hold a Mite (9 & 10) and Squirt (11 & 12) level Spring

Training Camp, open to all Winakwa players wanting to get a jump on the 2010

season. Let me know if you are interested.

LTP (Learn to Play)

  • Introduces softball to children.

  • Ensures children have fun while improving their fitness and developing skills.

  • Gives every child opportunities to develop.

  • Based on feedback from last season programs should start at the beginning of May.

There is plenty of information on the Softball Manitoba and Bonivital websites. Check

them out at www.softball.mb.ca and www.bonivitalsoftball.ca.

VOLUNTEERING IS WHAT KEEPS THESE PROGRAMS RUNNING

Finally, please consider volunteering as there is always a need for coaches, managers,

field assistants, umpires, etc. Let me know and we will get you set up for the start

of the 2010 season!!

Current coaches please look into the Making Ethical Decisions (MED) Module on the

Softball Manitoba website. This will be mandatory in 2011.
